Anyways, cosmetic features aside, the device is a gem, works like a charm and the battery is indeed new, at least it last 2 full day on moderate usage. It was recognized by my old version of iTunes and I haven't had any technical problems at all. For the price is a really good device. So, no complaints so far. Item came super fast and I am very happy with it.
