USPS might have been a little cheaper, and a smaller box might have helped. Consider Pirate ship to lower cost. Both devices turned on, displayed info, and read disks. The unit was double box packaged and all the corners of the receiver were supported well with styrofoam corner guards. Shipping was good through Fed Ex, but I was surprised the seller made my signature required for an item under $400. I missed delivery twice due to work and had to have Fed Ex hold it at their nearest store 25 miles away. Still happy to get the unit safely eventually.

It was only in a clear plastic bag. It was not protected in the box it was shipped in. This is not a deal breaker for me. I would recommend buying items from this seller as they were honest and fair about their products. The item was as described.
