When 15 year-old Kagome Higurashi falls down a well, she finds herself magically transported to medieval Japan, a place inhabited by demons and goblins. The jewel, now broken into shards, would fulfill Inuyasha's desire to become a fully-fledged demon. Inexplicably drawn to Inuyasha, Kagome suspects she is the reincarnation of Kikyo, a woman from Inuyasha's past. In these three episodes, the Dark Priestess Tsubaki, who was once Kikyo's bitter rival for the sacred jewel, is still on an evil quest for the magical gem. With one of the magical shards stuck in her head, she swallows demons and becomes bigger and more terrifying than ever. Inuyasha may be the next course on her menu. Also, the Wind Sorceress Kagura breaks free of her evil master Naraku by taking jewel shards from the demon wolf Koga.
