I had to get my tiny Jewelers Screwdriver to put it together, but assemble was easy. It’s nice to be able to press buttons without the scanner sliding around on me. The stand also makes reading the display much easier. Take it from a legally blind Ham Radio Operator, you’ll like this thing!!! Larry N9UDN

This angle also helps send the sound from the bottom-firing speaker towards you. Comes with four grippy 3M sponge feet. They do a really nice job of keeping the scanner in one place while I push buttons. (I kinda wish this came with four more to put between the scanner and the stand, but they aren't necessary.) When assembling, remember that tiny screws into plastic are easy to strip. Just "snug them" down.
