The box the boxcar came in was the perfect size to both ship it and store it when not in use. Packaging was solid, no damage. The boxcar itself was exactly as described and as recommended by the seller a little cleaning job brought out a very nice vintage model. What can be improved: Seller did get lucky there was no damage, as the drop-in bubble-wrap envelope packing of the naked acrylic OEM box with the car was minimal, making for the cheap shipping. Other sellers pack better in protective boxes for similar prices.
