The Precision-Force Spring System construction of the Vortex 4-12x40 makes it highly resistant to magnum recoil. The Vortex 4-12x can have the performance features gun enthusiasts are looking for in a riflescope. The Diamondback has 95 % light transmission using multi-coated optics that can give clear, sharp images in most lighting conditions. The fast focus eyepiece can make for easy reticle dead hold BDC focusing under the worst circumstances. For parallax adjustment, the Diamondback has an easy to reach knob that can allow the user to obtain better focus. Range numbers can be visible from any firing position, allowing you to adjust the sight on your rifle better. The Vortex Diamondback has a field of view of 32.4-11.3 feet/100 yards. Graduate adjustments of 1/4 MOA are incorporated. MOA is a mathematical concept critical when you are sighting in the magnification of your scope. Travel is 15, elevation adjustment 60, and windage adjustment 60. These specifications are important to any dead hold enthusiast. There are numerous accessories available for this model as well.
