Germans are precise about details! Also, l almost sliced into fake bear for it was unwrapped, unprotected and placed in a tight fitting box. This is a newer bear. I know you were shocked at the wonderful condition the bear was in with all tags since it came from an avid collector but it like the hundreds of other Steiffs I have sold is authentic. My positive feedback from 1,500+ customers speaks for itself. Buyers feedback like this usually speaks for itself and should be taken with a grain of salt.
