Rust is on both main spindles shafts when the stones are removed. Yes use a file first then follow up with 180g wet/dry and the extensions slide right up the shoulder, this makes them truly balance with offset grub screws. Powerful motor Tears through corrosion on aluminium without stalling the motor. Great! Time is money and this is great compared to a drill/mop set up. A crash helmet stops a black face👍
