Transceivers attach one or more personal computers or other equipment to a network, allowing them to communicate with other users. Enterasys is the world's largest manufacturer of these essential network components, with an extensive line designed to meet your evolving needs. Enterasys manufactures standards-based transceivers for all the popular media types (shielded/unshielded twisted pair, fiber optic and thick/thin coaxial cable), providing you with endless wiring options as you plan and expand your network. All Enterasys transceivers feature a user-selectable switch to enable and disable the SQE (heartbeat test). This switch allows the transceivers to be connected to a repeater or computer as required. In addition, every transceiver features LANVIEW on-board diagnostic indicators a series of LEDs that allows for quick detection of network problems.
