This neck brings out warm and rich overtones on my alto and makes the horn respond quicker which is perfect for ensemble work. The original neck on my EM Alto has more upper partial, focused and zip which fits better in a solo context. I did have to sand down the tenon with 400 grit sandpaper to get to fit the neck joint as it was too tight out of the box.

I bought this Alto Saxophone neck with no expectations and I’m really happy with the result. The neck is fitted to my Yamaha 62 Alto sax from 90s I find it a very good solution for producing amazing sound with all Saxophone.
