Libredrive firmware was pre installed and everything worked as it should. This Drive read has read every disk that my previous LG couldn't and except for one disk with extremely visible disk rot is perfect for my uhd, blu-ray, dvd, and cds I've thrown at it. Shipping and packaging was quick and we'll done. Price was great. 5 stars for this seller.

Seller responds to messages and did respond to one of my offers, so that's good. The player looks brand new and obviously was flashed by the seller to have the correct firmware to support 4K. Thanks.

However, I realize this functionality is not guaranteed, and I am still happy with the drive, I did need a new 5.25 opitical drive anyway
