Now about the show. This is an okay bluray release of the SyFy Dune miniseries (2000) and Children of Dune miniseries (2003). I really wanted the DVD Special Edition Director's Cut on bluray, but this is not that. It is missing about 5 extra minutes of dialog from the first miniseries, but that doesn't really detract from the story. Overall a decent bluray release.

To be able to get the entire series plus all the extras is a value beyond belief for fans. And to top it all, it arrived so quickly that I had to stop and think what day it was. Pristine & new, video quality is so much better than the DVD. The only way this experience could have been better would have been for the seller to hand deliver it!!!

So I suspect this may actually be region free or multi-region. Great looking set and it includes both of the SyFy Dune miniseries, "Frank Herbert's Dune" and "Children of Dune."
