There are a few cracks in the wood that you can see in the photos. They might have been there when it was carved. There are some tiny depressions in the top of the head that look a little white. I think that they are from when it was made. It looks like the wires that were originally glued to one hand and have pulled loose. One wire is broken at the end so that it does not attach to the hand. There are no breaks in the wood. Otherwise, this statue is fine and as shown.”

Absolutely delighted with cross, and it exceeded my expectations. Love it! I'm not sure either about materials therein, but I am thinking it is a Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, but not 100% sure.
