Deep Silver's Diablo-like hack-and-slash RPG returns with four new character classes and four-player co-op action in Sacred 3. Gamers return to the mystical continent of Ancaria, where they must join forces with other heroes to defeat the oppressive Ashen Empire and keep its leader Lord Zane Ashen from opening the gates to the underworld. Players can choose from the angelic Seraphim Claire, the Safiri pirate Marak, the spear-wielding Ancarian Alithea, the Khukuri archer Vajra, or the Malakhim assassin Kython, with each character offering unique skills and weapons.<br><br>As players battle hordes of foes they can level up and customize their hero, eventually mastering special attacks that will let them demolish large groups of enemies. Gamers can join three friends for co-op action, but even in solo play three AI companions will join the fray. Players are encouraged to team up and perform dynamic co-op combat arts to defeat bosses, but Sacred 3 also encourages friendly competition among heroes in a quest to become the greatest warrior in the land.
