Definitely battery would be drained then. When I opened battery compartment, it was all rusted up. Upon further inspection due to heavy rust, the metal item for battery contact detached. Raised to seller, but seller insist it is brand new. Order on a Sunday if you want to save a couple days. On a good note, there was good communication, and they combined shipping and issued a refund.
