The nicest pendant was obviously used as the example photo. I purchased as a birthday gift for my mom whose birthstone is Amethyst, hoping it would have at least some dark purple in it; what I received is half washed out pink with a a couple flecks of light purple that only show up at certain angles & half orange with multiple visible blemishes that should have been ground down & buffed out on the face of the pendant. I will probably have to find something else for her instead.

Even though it is not my favorite, it's not the stone that I expected,colors are pretty, but it is not what I expected. It does not meet my expectations. Of course, my expectations are usually pretty high. I will not be wanting another one of these.
