I actually prefer the speaker wire mounting in these compared to the original Pioneer connector. There appears to be one minor issue, the metal plates are a little bit thicker than those of the Pioneer and so they don't easily insert fully (I didn't try forcing them). I suspect I will have to carefully file them so that metal is thinner. A+++
