The Yashica Lynx 14E 35mm Rangefinder film camera is a vintage camera that offers the classic features and advanced functions to take your photos to new heights. This camera offers everything you need to satisfy your photographic sensibilities. This model was innovative and a great bargain for its time and continues to remain among the most popular manual rangefinders. This camera body and lens are still popular with vintage camera and photography enthusiasts who continue to enjoy the hobby of taking photos with film and search for quality equipment. Initially released in 1968, the Yashica Lynx 14E Rangefinder camera is part of the leaf shutter group of manual exposure rangefinders. These cameras are equipped with IC controlled electro manual exposure functionality. The Yashica Lynx 14E 35mm Rangefinder camera produces excellent exposure in your photos, regardless of the lighting conditions with a CdS exposure meter cell on the camera body. There is a chrome button to switch on the exposure meter. A momentary button illuminates if the exposure is “under” or “over” with these indicators seen in the viewfinder. You hold this switch button in, while adjusting the shutter speed and aperture until the exposure is neither under or over exposed. The camera is equipped with a quiet Copal shutter, which offers vibration-free operation and top electronic shutter speeds of 1/500 second, and the camera is able to produce handheld exposures that are vibration free down to 1/15 of a second. The specifications of this camera include manual helical focusing with a fully coupled rangefinder and automatic parallax compensation. The framelines provide a small, yellow focus patch that helps to enhance image quality. Other features include an external cold shoe with PC connection, X-M switch, X sync speed for all speeds, Copal SE leaf shutter that ranges from one second to 1/500 of a second, self-timer, and apertures of f1.4 – f16. Use the Yashica Lynx camera with blur-free film to help you achieve the perfect photo, even with a subject in motion. The film range for this camera is ASA/ISO 10-800 to produce great photos in all lighting conditions. The camera does have a built-in flash, but most situations will not require a flash when you use 400 ASA film in this low-light camera. The camera body’s durable all metal construction stands the test of time. The camera is among the largest and heaviest rangefinders. These rangefinders are known for fast f1.4 lenses. The Yashica Lynx has a 45 mm Yashinon lensthat provides exquisite photos, taken indoors using available light. This lens enhances resolution and contrast for exceptional quality available-light photos and great quality detail and clarity in photographs taken inside and outdoors. The Yashica Lynx 14E Rangefinder camera’s controls sit on the lens barrel. The Yashica Lynx camera is a fully manual camera. The battery power is only needed to power the light meter. The camera is a great choice for photography enthusiasts with an affinity for vintage film cameras and offers the features needed to ensure beautiful shots.

    Seller was excellent. Stone received in as described condition. Seller shipped via FedEx to my PO Box. The small, part-time PO in my rural area appears to have had an issue with FedEx delivering a pkg to them. The pkg was placed in another person's box. They online search, they were able to get my phone & arrange for me to drive to their farm 15mins from my house. I finally recvd the stone on 10-30-2025.
