About the Painting Process

The paint is applied directly to my breasts, which are then pressed onto the canvas. This process is repeated many times, using different color combinations and transfer techniques, until I'm pleased with the final composition. An interesting palette and well-balanced composition are essential to me. My strength is in color mixology, which is a huge asset for this method of painting. Many of the colors I use are custom blended for use in only a handful of paintings - this helps keeps this collection fresh and expansive. The artwork in this series is intended to be intimate, whimsical, and fun. This painting was 100% painted by my (real) breasts.

I take great pride in my work and I hope you'll view it in an artistic light, despite my unorthodox painting methods.

About the Artist

I'm a full-time, self-taught, professional artist, best known for my colorful breast paintings and my collaborative efforts with Koopa the turtle, now retired from painting.  My art is generally abstract, although I have skill (but little patience) with landscapes, still lifes, figural drawing, and some types of sculpture.  I enjoy working with different mediums and finding new ways to get paint onto a canvas.  I created my first breast painting in January 2001. I also paint with brushes, palette knives, other body parts, toys (wind-up, RC, etc.,) and fruits & vegetables. My intention is to provoke emotion through my art, make living spaces more beautiful, spark conversation, and most importantly - make people smile!  My works can be seen in homes and businesses throughout the world. My auction starting bids are all inspired by baseball players (Ichiro's 51 being the most common.) Artistic creation is my passion. I've also begun to offer handmade beaded jewelry and original photo prints - I love shooting photography, then digitally manipulating it afterwards.
