he new flagship Speedlite 580EX II Flash, with maximum Guide No. 58 (meter; ISO100; 105mm), supports E-TTL II/E-TTL/TTL autoflash and features 20% shorter recycle time than previous generation and silent recycling. A host of improvements are introduced, including a metal hot shoe with an improved locking mechanism for added durability, an external metering sensor for non-TTL automatic flash exposure control and a PC Terminal for use with non-dedicated slave triggers. Fully compatible with all EOS SLRs, the new Speedlite 580EX II is gasketed for dust and moisture resistance, making it possible for users to use flash safely when shooting in dusty or wet environments with EOS-1Ds Mark III/EOS-1D Mark III.

When wanting to initiate your 2 year warranty, please contact us and provide your eBay Buyer User ID, Sales Record Number. (Once we received payment from buyer, we will send a "Payment Received Notification" email. Buyer should save this email for keeping purchase record. Buyer User ID & Sales Record Number would be appear in "Payment Received Notification").

Once received, item will be inspected by our technical staff, and we will email you within 14 working days to describe errors found with the product and plans to fix or replace your item. 

Be assured that we will attend to your item within this time period and if for any chance (due to workload and/or manpower issues) we cannot attend to it (within 14 days), we will inform you and compensate your time as well.

 

Once item has been rectified, it will be sent back to you via Registered Air Mail or Courier Service.

Warranty is however void if item is sold to a 3rd Party without written consent by DCtrade.  If you plan to sell your item within the 2 year warranty period, please email us to verify/amend user registration details.  The warranty will not be extended but the service can be afforded to a new user if need be.


 The after-sale service and warranty policy does not cover for the following damages: cosmetic damage, damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse or negligence. We will examine the actual causes of the damages and make an ultimate decision. All requested services are subject to final approval by DCTRADE.

DCtrade offers a 10 Day return policy on all items if

  1. User finds item not as described (no fee will be administered)
  2. Item arrives damaged/dead on arrival (no fee will be administered)

If the reasons above are causes for returns/refunds, DCtrade will ask that you send the item back in its original packaging with all contents.

 

Once item has been received and inspected, a refund along with postage will be offered to buyer.

 

If however you wish to return the item because

  1. You do not wish to keep the item anymore
  2. Shipment took up to 3 days longer than expected

 

Then please follow the instructions as above to the same address but an 8% handling fee will be administered and no postage will be refunded.  For this case, we ask that you please read all terms and conditions, item description and product specification before purchase.  We will strictly enforce this rule.

 

If customers however wish to initiate any of the above issues after 10 days, DCtrade will have to charge 8% administration fee and no postage refunded for any circumstance whatsoever.
